Most owners set up their Google profile once, then get busy running the business. That's normal. But customers see the profile every day, and small gaps add up.
Here's what I see most often:
- Wrong or missing hours. No holiday hours, or hours that changed years ago. Someone drives over and finds a locked door.
- Few photos, or old ones. A single blurry photo from 2019 doesn't show people what you do.
- Unanswered reviews. Customers read the replies too. When nobody answers, it can look like nobody's there.
- Missing basics. No description, no services listed, or a website link that doesn't work.
- The wrong category. If Google thinks you're a different kind of business, the right customers have a harder time finding you.
